Unlimited capacity, elastic storage and automatic expansion

Unlimited Capacity, Elastic Storage and Automatic Expansion

The 138 Enterprise Mail system uses a two-level storage structure. Mail indexes record message locations while message data is separated from storage devices.

To add new storage space, mount the storage directory, adjust directory weights and restart the storage service. Expansion has almost no impact on normal use.

The initial capacity starts at 10G and expands automatically as usage grows, without affecting daily mailbox operation.

Online hot backup and repair for user data

Online Hot Backup and Repair for User Data

138 Enterprise Mail stores multiple messages in single files to reduce file count and improve backup and recovery speed.

The system supports online hot backup for user databases. If a running database fails, user information can be obtained automatically from the backup database to protect login and mail delivery.

With AutoRepair, mailbox information is checked automatically when users log in. Special issues such as missing mail indexes can be repaired by regenerating indexes.

Data stream processing technology

Data Stream Processing Technology

138 Enterprise Mail uses data stream processing technology, processing each data block immediately instead of waiting for the entire file transfer to finish.

This mechanism uses system memory more efficiently, supports large-scale user applications and improves mailbox stability under high concurrency.

Server security strategy

Server Security Strategy

For multi-server deployment, 138 Enterprise Mail uses ring backup to provide stronger data redundancy, protect storage security and avoid single points of failure.

The system can also detect load between servers of the same type and intelligently route user requests to reduce pressure and improve overall service stability.

Automatic service fault recovery

Automatic Service Fault Recovery

Service modules in 138 Enterprise Mail include monitoring. If a service exits unexpectedly, the system restarts it automatically and keeps service logs.

Each service module includes a Heart-Beat sync port. When a processing module fails, related modules stop data transfer automatically to prevent repeated connection attempts from affecting performance.

After Heart-Beat synchronization returns to normal, data communication resumes automatically to reduce cascading failures.

Unknown sender reminder

Unknown Sender and Suspicious Email Reminders

Based on analysis of massive spam samples, 138 Enterprise Mail uses a self-developed anti-phishing system. Emails from non-contact senders are marked as unknown to reduce the risk of being deceived by similar-looking addresses.

External emails and suspected phishing emails are actively flagged to help companies build awareness before opening suspicious messages.

Web, mobile and desktop access

Web, Mobile and Desktop Multi-device Access

138 Enterprise Mail supports IE, Chrome, 360 Browser, Firefox and other browsers, as well as Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows, macOS and domestic operating systems.

It supports SMTP, IMAP and POP international standard protocols, and can be used with Foxmail, Outlook, OA systems and other third-party clients.
